Thank you to those who came out and supported An Evening for Matangwe November 19th, 2011. The evening was a great success in raising over $14,000 for the Educational Initiatives! The proceeds of this fundraiser will feed well over 500 children a lunch-time meal each school day in 2012, and provide these students with a uniform. A special thank you to all our silent auction donors and our DJ.

Proceeds raised from Queen Street Yoga’s community class for the month of February will go to Caring Partners Global to support our work in Western Kenya. The community class is a drop-in by donation class that is geared towards beginners. This is a great place to give yoga a try! The community class is held Thursday evenings at 6pm and taught by the wonderful instructor Emma. Each class is a suggested donation of $5-10.
