SUCCESS STORY
Monica Atieno OmbewaMonica is a total orphan who was living with an elderly grandmother and 3 younger siblings when she came to the attention of Caring Partners Global. At the end of 2005 Monica had completed form 2, equivalent to grade 10, at Lwak Girls' Secondary School, but was in danger of being unable to return for form 3. Her grandmother could no longer afford the school fees required. As a result of receiving a sponsorship through CPG's Education Sponsorship Program Monica was able to return to form 3 in January, 2006 and graduated in 2007 scoring in the top 15% on her Kenyan National Exam. |
